- Prepare Your Hair: After washing, put some pomade or moisturizer in your hair. Brush it the way you want your waves to go.
- Put On the Durag: Put the durag on so the front is right above your forehead. The seam should be in the middle of your head to not mess up your hair.
- Tie the Durag: Cross the durag's tails behind your head, bring them to the front, and tie a knot on your forehead. Make it snug, but not too tight.
- Adjust and Secure: Flatten the durag on your head to help make waves. You can let the flap hang or tuck it in. Wear the durag all night for the best wave results.
